Sedentary/Low Activity: Your dog has one hour or less per day of moderate-intensity activity such as brisk leash walking, digging, or pacing. Most adult dogs fit this category.
Moderate Activity: Your dog has one to three hours per day of moderate-intensity activity such as brisk leash walking, digging, or pacing.
High Activity: Your dog has four or more hours per day of moderate-intensity activity such as brisk leash walking, digging, or pacing OR one to three hours per day of high-intensity activity such as swimming, herding, or agility OR your dog lives outside in extreme environmental conditions.
Gestating: Your female dog is expecting a litter of puppies!
Lactating: Your female dog has just given birth and is now caring for her newborn puppies!
Moderate Activity: Your puppy has one to three hours per day of moderate-intensity activity such as brisk leash walking, digging, or playing with littermates.
